Hershel Holland

Hershel Holland, 76, of Cynthiana, husband of the late Janet Lee Huff Holland, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Robertson Co. Health Care in Mt. Olivet.

Born September 28, 1949 in Breathitt County to the late Everett & Ellen Combs Holland, he was a lifelong famer and a member of Central Christian Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Milner; 2 brothers, Donald & Rufus Holland; and 2 sisters, Margie Vaughn and Ruth Ann Arnold, along with several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding him in death were 4 brothers: Paul, A.C., William & Everett Holland; and a sister, Laura Bishop.

Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 24th in the Battle Grove Cemetery Meditation Building officiated by Donnie Smart with inurnment to follow.
